#RUNJXN - Day 10



More @bright_walls murals (pictured is @0uizi) and another stop on the Underground Railroad tour: The First Congregational Church,founded by an Underground Railroad agent; several deacons also were agents!
I ran by (and through) the first Michigan State Prison, with its 25 feet stone walls. It looks like a castle but always gives me an eerie feeling. The history within those walls has a weight and is clearly palpable.

The I love the pop of beauty in and surrounding @art634injackson.
It was an interesting and colorful 11.0 miles today in my pursuit of running #everysinglestreet in #jacksonmi

#RUNJXN  - Day 4 more of Ward 1. Don’t go to the last picture if you’re easily grossed out 😬. Today was a tough one for a lot of reasons. My legs and heart were both heavy running though this part of the city. The Woodlawn Cemetery was full of large evergreen trees and so still. I saw a house that looked like a huge boat! #RUNJXN - Day 2

#RUNJXN  Day 2  #everysinglestreet Covered almost all of Ward 3-3. Turns out that the house I grew up in was in this ward! So that’s one of my pictures for the day. The other is Kiwanis Park, where we often went to play. It looks strange with yellow caution tape surrounding all of the structures.
